Nestled in the quaint country town of Apple Tree Creek, Mollydookers Cafe & Bar balances country charm with city standards and presents a menu you can't find anywhere else in Australia. With friendly staff, an inviting licensed atmosphere, ample parking and both intoner and outdoor covered dining. Mollydookers is a place you can unwind with friends and watch the world go by. With plenty of seating and reverse cycle climate control, Mollydookers also becomes a hub for year round celebrations - be it birthdays, meetings, baby showers, retirements, hens parties or work breakups. If it's important to you it's important to us and we love helping you celebrate. Our full al la carte menu proudly uses quality ingredients sourced locally from farmers, butchers and bakers alike to create Canadian inspired dishes. We cook all meals to order and as a result we have the ability to cater for dietary restrictions on request. With turnaround space for large vehicles and easy access onto the highway both north and south, neither coming or going is an issue.

IHappy Friday all! Dad's Day specials are now live on the website, and hot outta the kitchen...well, minus the ones that aren't meant to be by design (Caramilk Hedgehog Caramel Tart anyone?)

Long weekend for anyone with littles, and by long I mean loooooong because it's an extra day with them hahaha, kidding. Sort of 😏 We celebrated Mike's birthday yesterday so now we gear up for Dad's Day weekend - don't forget to book in if you know you are coming; Dad's Day is notorious for filling up but noooot until the 11th hour so get in while you can.

Nearly forgot in all my rush to say this is our Outback Parmi - chicken schnitzel baked with BBQ sauce, slow cooked pulled beef, red onion and cheese then drizzled with our homemade aioli 🤌

Making their way back this weekend are our Spin Dip (spinach & 3cheese) Stuffed Mushies, the perfect Canadian-Aussie fusion. Although I’m not sure stuffed mushies are Aussie… but let’s roll with that.

Specials will be starting Friday and running all weekend, we’re throwing Mike’s bday into the mix as well so if you see him tomorrow give him a Happy Birthday 😅

My Saturday reminder that full Brekky is on from 9am tomorrow… all the savouries, all the sweets, and mostly both on one plate because… why the heck not 🙌 🤤

Didn’t I say soemthing last week about being better at posting? 🤣🤷‍♀️ Well here we are, a week later. Anywho…

Dad’s Day (weekend) starts NEXT FRIDAY you guys. Our menu is sorted (I’ll post that later today!) and we’ll do some more give aways this year..more on that later.

Our (not) mozza sticks will be back this year for the first time in maybe a decade?? How on earth has that been so long between visits?! Have a look at our stories if you wanna see the cheese string in fuuuuuull effect 🙌

The kind of music we need after spending days on menus 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 Gotta say, props to anyone that can sit in front of a computer all day… it is not my forte, I forget to blink and turn into a blood-eyed zombie that can’t structure a sentence after 🫠 Never thought I’d say it, but thankful to be back in the kitchen today 🤣

We’ve done some things! A couple changes, which includes FIVE new pizzas, including this one - our Angry Bird. Smokey BBQ sauce with seasoned chicken breast, capsicum, pineapple and jalapeños. Avo dip is not generally on the menu but running it as a limited time option.

Cookie sandwich is sold out (😩) so we’re thinking maybe some form of a ridiculous caramel tart… let’s see how creative we can get today. Watch this space 🙃

I feel like it's been so long between posts I should almost reintroduce myself... except I'm not gonna - so here, have a dessert post instead, it's basically me in a picture anyway 😅

Holy moly we have been busy, and we still have a few weeks of catch ups from that now, don't you just love this time of year? Not sure why we can't have EOFY in like February when it's dead 🙄 Anywho. We're behind on paperwork but NOT behind on cooking - this here is a 'I want to hate myself after' dessert, one that even I would probably recommend sharing, or at least eating in 2 sittings, haha. It's a coconut cookie dough sandwich with layers of gooey brownie and homemade caramel between, drizzled with a chocolate and caramel ganache after warming. Don't say I didn't warn you!

…that cheesy drip… 😅

Here’s me on a Thursday (nearly not) morning scouring my photos because the last couple of weeks (or month 😵‍💫🫣) has been so hectic I haven’t had a chance to take any pictures… whoops! An oldie but a goodie, our Pulled Pork Quesadilla, with capsicum, onion, our maple and BBQ slow cooked pulled pork and the melty cheesy you can see to hold it all together. Of course sour cream and our home made salsa to dip (or spoon on if you’re anything like me 💁‍♀️)

So feeling a bit mean posting pics of foods that we don’t actually offer on the menu today, so I’ll preface this by saying if you want it, I’ll make it today 😅 This is our old / new Brekky poutine! This was the original way we used to make it, with Tater Tots, curd, poutine gravy, Smokey bacon and sunny eggs… but remember the potato shortage of 2021? Well tots became discontinued and we switched to Trax chips. Weeeeeeell, here we are again but flip sidin’, trax are now discontinued and tots are back baby! Not mad about it.

So how’s that for a long winded ‘we can’t serve trax chips anymore’ 😅 I’ve never been one for short stories 🤷‍♀️💁‍♀️

Holy heck what a week we just had..apologies to everyone we had to kick everyone out Saturday night; we lost half of our power which whilst confusing turned out to be an Ergon issue thankfully. All sorted now. So this festival week we’re coming in hot - lots of specials including some birthday week do-overs because I’m terrible at keeping things to a one-time special when I know how good they are…. 😬🤷‍♀️ We’re bringing back some crowd favourites over the weekend like our Sticky Pork and Steak Tacos, and then there is this. The dessert that hasn’t left my thoughts since we decided to create it and I gotta tell ya… I am soooo much better without a recipe haha. Kingston (aka the superior Arnotts cream biscuit) inspired Pie. Homemade Kingston base, whipped chocolate filling and an ANZSC crumble top. Served with vanilla ice cream and lots of love, because YUM. You’re welcome.

Sheeee’s back! And the only disappointing thing is the lack of ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’ as a song option on the ol’ ‘gram 🤣. Named after yours truely because it was everything I love on a burger; mild cajun dusted grilled chicken with lettuce, tomato, onion, grilled pineapple, Bucks Smokey bacon, cheese, homemade avocado sauce and everyone’s favourite Mollys Mayo. Your choice of one side. So good!

In typical fashion we have so much on this week I have very little time for socials, on the week I have the most to say so maybe once weee caught up we’ll just on video again… maybe… 🤔
