Our Newest Winter Menu Drops TUESDAY

We genuinely cannot wait for you to experience it. 🤍

has been deep in creation mode and what's coming is something special — slow-cooked healing bone broth elixirs, winter comfort foods that actually nourish, more meat on the menu, and a few things we're not quite ready to reveal yet.

This is Icaro in full winter mode. Warm, intentional, deeply nourishing and so delicious you will want to keep coming back for more.

What a Weekend, What a Team!

The Great Ocean Road Running Festival brings thousands of people to our little town to enjoy our slice of paradise for a moment — and every year, it reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

Our team showed up this weekend and absolutely delivered — wholefood plates flying, coffee flowing, smiles somehow still intact after the longest rushes of the year. Record-breaking, actually. 👀

The marathon crowd is always our favourite. You're a different kind of people — grateful, kind, upbeat even at kilometre 40-something. The thank-yous from across the counter genuinely mean everything.

So from all of us at Icaro — THANK YOU for choosing us, fuelling up with us, and making this one of the best weekends of the year. 🙏

And to the crew behind the counters — I don't have the words. You make the chaos feel like joy. What a team.

As the summer crowds pull back and Apollo Bay settles into its slower, softer rhythm, we've decided to press pause on Icaro Nights for the season.

The honest truth? Our evening dining experience thrives on a full room — the hum of conversation, the energy of a busy kitchen, tables stretched well into the night. And right now, with tourism at its winter low sooner than expected, we'd rather wait for those conditions than water down something we're really proud of.

But here's the thing — winter in a small town is actually our favourite season. It's when the community comes back to itself. When you see the same faces, have the longer conversations, and remember why you love living somewhere like this.

So instead of going quiet, we're going local.

Over the coming months, watch for intimate chef's evenings, community pop-ups, and a few unexpected collaborations — the kind of gatherings that only really work when a place belongs to the people who actually live there.
