A note from Icaro 🤍
We wanted to talk honestly about something that's been on our minds: surcharges and prices.
You've probably noticed more cafés and restaurants adding card surcharges, weekend fees and price rises. We understand why. Across the country, hospitality is doing it tough. People are eating and drinking out less, costs keep climbing, margins are razor thin, and small businesses everywhere are feeling it. We are too.
But we've chosen to go the other way.
We're not increasing our prices.
In fact, we've reduced food prices across our menu.
We know everyone is feeling the pinch, and we want Icaro to stay somewhere you can still afford to come, sit down, and share a meal or a drink with people you love.
We also now cover the bank surcharges ourselves, so you won't see them on your bill. If you're able to pay with cash, it genuinely helps us. It's a small thing that makes a real difference to a small business.
What hasn't changed is how we cook. We still use the best quality produce we can find, organic wherever possible, and our kitchen is completely seed oil free. We won't cut corners on what goes into your food.
Behind every plate and every cup is a team who work incredibly hard to keep this place warm, welcoming and full of good energy. We're so grateful for them, and for every one of you who walks through our door.
Icaro has always been about more than food. It's a place for our community to come together, and we're committed to keeping it that way.
So whether it's a coffee on your way past, a long lunch with friends, or a quiet drink at the end of the day, we'd love to see you.
