Well… this is a tough one. 🥹
With very mixed emotions, we’re saying farewell to our much-loved The Dock Wine Bar. The new owners will officially take over the business on 1st October, and while it’s certainly bittersweet for us, we wish them all the very best and look forward to following their journey and seeing what the future holds for The Dock.
When we walked through those doors, we never imagined just how much this little wine bar, its laneway and, most importantly, its people would come to mean to us. We’ve met so many wonderful people, made some great friends and created more memories than we could ever fit into one post.

You have all played such a huge part in making The Dock what it is. You’ll each hold a very special place in our hearts and our memories.
And don’t think you’re getting rid of us that easily… 😂
We’ll be stalking your socials to see where you’re playing and doing our very best to get along to as many of your gigs as we can! ❤️

From the crazy busy days and nights when we wondered if we’d ever catch our breath, to the quieter nights where we had time for a good old chinwag… you’ve worked your butts off, looked after our customers and helped create the atmosphere that makes The Dock so special.
Your hard work, commitment and care have never gone unnoticed.
You will forever be part of our Dock Crew. 💙
