THE END of an OPEN MIC VENTURE:

Sad to hear that the Gaslight Tavern has been sold, a vibrant live music venue is now defunct! Our Open Mic Sunday Sessions, run there for five years, built up a conga line of regular jammers addicted to live music, we are all devastated and will sure miss the convenient fully-equipped stage that was on hand! And, thank you Mark Anders for your initiatives and contribution to live music over the years!

Despite this closure, and the current inconvenience of Covid regulations, there remains the need for many of us addicted musos and live music lovers to continue gathering to jam, fraternize and network with each other -helps keep live music alive and vibrant!

So, if we can secure another venue, one with a similar stage and sound set-up as the Gassy, we sure can all continue in the pleasure of jamming live music. Please contact AL if you know or hear of such a venue interested in hosting such a venture!

And, have a browse through our photo album, some good memories there of the good times had at the Gassy!

SEASON'S GREETINGS!

2021, despite lock-downs and Covid restrictions, was a pretty good year for our Open Mic Sessions. Musos and music-lovers all complied well with the rules, we made the best of a somewhat depressing period and survived unscathed.

Sunday past was our last session for the year. The Gassy will announce the 2022 Open Mic opening date on its page in Jan, stay tuned!

Thanks to all for the super input made in the past year and please help make the 2022 Sessions even better! Have a good Christmas/Happy Holidays!!

THIS SUNDAY OUR REGULAR JAM STARTS AT 3 SHARP.
AT 4.30 we have 90s Grunge Band, "SUPERSONIC" performing for 30mins!
JAM continues after! Come on Down!

We're getting busier at each Sunday Session! ....best to arrive early to secure a slot and a good seat. Kicks-off at 3pm sharp!!
