ANCIENT WORLD X H34VEN0N34RTH PRESENT MANUKA HONEY [UK]

Smack bang in the middle of fringe we bring to you Manuka Honey.

London’s Manuka Honey channels a fierce fusion of industrial pressure chaotic club futurism with Latinx and Caribbean rhythms - a sound shaped by dembow, cumbia and global diasporic styles. Her sets and productions carry the serrated synths, bouncy bass and humid, high-energy edge heard across her releases, including collaborations with Florenetino, Safety Trance and La Favi. A defining force in the underground, she brings a stormy, ritualistic intensity to every dance floor she touches.

Accompanying her, we have:
- hard drum aficionado and friend across state borders Recluse hailing from Naarm to join our favourite Kaurna-based producer and DJ Strict Face for a legendary back to back.
- Our darling percussive sorceress 0800KIN
- A high octane back to back of know.clu and DJSEXYCOOLGIRL

Tickets are tiered on entry, with early bird tickets granting entry all night, and other tiers associated with other times throughout the night. Entry outside of the listed ticket tier requires a difference in ticket price to be paid. Entry is prioritised for ticket holders but ultimately subject to capacity.

Door tickets before 11PM are $30 and $35 afterwards.

The digital ravine has overflowed and bubbled over. Diasporic technomancers have found him. NET GALA. Hard drives, eyes and hearts distort, flutter and glitch off of what H34VEN0N34RTH and Cynetic have identified.

As one of the driving forces who spearhead the underground club scene of the city of Seoul, NET GALA distorts the conventional language of electronic music. Pulsating drum patterns and mercurial sonic elements amalgamate inside the South Korean producer’s body of work, raising questions about identity, q***r culture, body politics, co-founding Gwangheungchang, and receiving a Korean Music Award for Best Electronic Album in 2025 with his first full-length album [GALAPAGGOT].

Live sets by Three Mothers as well as performance brought to you in collaboration between Ether and Ethan.
DJ sets by Cristea, Cynetic, 非 Fēi and know.clu, bridging the underground scenes of Naarm and Korea.

A writhing digital installation Lucian and a joint visual work by both know.clu and Cynetic.

A night of experimental industrial and deconstructed club music, with a focus on the asian underground diaspora connecting through culture, music and dance.

Misanthropic Grief Club and H34VEN0N34RTH unite to present NET GALA [KOREA]. The two have joined their appreciation for those that experiment, forging a conglomeration of undergrounds far and wide.

Weyón [GADIGAL / SO-CALLED SYDNEY] is a lingering artist that calls upon sound and song to evoke and play within extremities of wonder and horror. Co-formulator of “Offerring,” they have performed alongside other entities such as S280F [USA], BCLIP [COLOMBIA], Sam Miers, Marcus Whale, Corin and have recently released musica on the forumforum label with Obelisk titled “CURSE PERFORMED, INCORRECTLY: Part I & Part II.”

Misanthropic Grief Club / MGC exist as the curatorial collective of artists Matthew Adey [HOUSE ØF VNHOLY] & Brett Davis aka MESSIANIC GLOSS. As a duo, the two are joint masterminds of experimental noise and light.

kinetic nocturnal oscillations wrought cryptic low-end undercurrents. kindling nexus origin wellspring collective launching underground. know now onstage witness curated luminous unison.

Drawing from the history of spiritual transfemininity, ENHE brings a twisted organic sound to the ears of those who partake in her blessings. Treating the club as a ritualistic space, she invites movement as expression on the dancefloor to uplift the immaterial soul above our material realities.

11/01/2026

H34VEN0N34RTH and ADELAIDE BALLROOM will no longer be a part of Adelaide Festival’s Tryp II event on the 27th of February.

In dropping Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah, in fears that it would “not be culturally sensitive to continue to program her at this unprecedented time so soon after Bondi” the board has continued to conflate anti-Zionism with anti-semetism, and extended that to outright racism against those of Arab descent by weaponising outrage to fuel further discrimination. The misguided actions taken by the board have shocked us, and this sentiment has been expressed nationwide as other writers and performers have followed in pulling out from the festival  in solidarity.

As a result, this performance no longer aligns with what we believe in. As such we are pulling out of the festival and standing along with those that we are currently aware of their voiced positions to withdraw from Adelaide Festival. As of writing this, those artists are: DJ Haram, Jannah Quill, House of Vnholy, Romi, Skorpion King and Mr John.

To Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah: we apologise for this mistreatment. We can’t imagine the pain involved in this association and the consequences thereof, but know that we will always have your back. Your brilliance as a writer and speaker will be painfully missed here, as your thoughts are needed more than ever. We will not remain passive: we will never abate the fight against political tyranny, against the silencing of you, or any other individual speaking to power.

H34VEN0N34RTH and ADL BALLROOM members support a free Palestine.
