There’s history in this one...  We as the co-conspirators behind Honeydripper, Raf and I met each other after a stint working on the bar together at 2KW a decade ago. Curdy was a somewhat fresh face in Adelaide at the time, playing on the rooftop every Thursday. He played what would be a pivotal role in our interest in music and centrepiece of Honeydripper. We’d be stopping half a dozen times a night to go and steal tracks from him.  Fast forward 8 years and Curdy was helping us source the Honeydripper record collection from his hometown, Chicago, while we were in the early stages of the Honeydripper build.  Nostalgia and connection are a big part of what we are trying to do here, and this night is a showcase of how a bunch of people all came to know each other through a mutual obsession with music. Different origins, different ages, different lives entirely, absolutely reeling over sick tracks through a sick system.  All night long B2Bs with some of the friends James has made in his move to SA.   Chicago meets Adelaide.

We’ve locked away some of Adelaide’s most impressive collectors for this weekend, showcasing Nantale, Driller, Oisima, Lenin, and Sharni.

It’s a weekend long clinic and we’llhave the doors open from 7.30 in the morning until 1.30
at night.

Close enough to Fringe to be convenient, far enough away to be a break.

We've just tucked away our first 6 months of trade. A little bit tired, incredibly stoked, very excited to bring to life a bunch of ideas we’ve been cooking away in the space.

Thanks to those that stuck their head in for our first rolling event. We'll be building on the Greenhouse concept for future long weekend Sundays!

Thanks to .adl for leaving the place in one piece and gracing us with their takeover.

For now, we are back tonight, tomorrow and all weekend long. Amps are warm, room is cool. See you as soon as physically possible.

Business as usual. We've had the AC blasting since 7am. It's an ice box in here. Don't let the orange glow fool you.

Lenin on the vinyl selections until ultra late. The holiday break is over but summer says there is time for more.

Doors from now until some undecided point at or after midnight.

2. Pizza! But we'll be staying in our lane so let us elaborate. Amalfi pizza, because we are abundantly aware they'll do it better than us and we also want to get in their good books so that we can get spoilt by them on a regular basis. Hot tip no 2: Spinaci pizza. Don't question it. Order and eat.

Menus available at Honeydripper. Dial them up and place an order. They'll call you when it's ready to collect. The joy of Italian neighbours!
