Bread & Bone Wood Grill http://www.breadandbone.com.au At Bread & Bone, we specialise in the unmistakable flavour of a wood grill to deliver some damn fine burgers.

Located upstairs in the tunnel between Peel and Leigh Streets in the Adelaide CBD, our flames are burning all day, 7 days a week. Afterwards pop down to our bar Maybe Mae for a cocktail or two.

To everyone who rolled through for a burger, a board, a drink, or a late-night feed…thanks for keeping this place alive in all the best ways.⁠

In 2025, we welcomed over 200,000 faces through the doors. Incredible stuff. Some came hungry. Some came thirsty. Some came with a wedding ring.⁠

By our very unscientific count, we hosted:⁠
•⁠ ⁠8,412 date nights ⁠
•⁠ ⁠6,433 Adelaide Crows supporters⁠
•⁠ ⁠⁠2,309 Port Power supporters ⁠
•⁠ ⁠125 “lunch meetings”⁠
•⁠ ⁠⁠1 engagement (she said yes 🥹💍)⁠

There were burgers by the tens of thousands, smoke in the air, sauce on sleeves, picklebacks after big nights, corn ribs passed down long tables and BBQ boards shared with their nearest and dearest. But more than anything, there were people giving the room its pulse, night after night.⁠

We’re taking a short breather on Jan 1st to rest the grills, the crew and ourselves.⁠
