We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to reach out and share some news regarding Bar38, a place that's been close to our hearts for the past few years.
It's with a mix of emotions that we let you know that Bar38 has unfortunately closed its doors due to a recent arson attack. This has been a challenging time for all of us, as everything we've worked so hard for over the last 3.5 years has been lost in the fire.
We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who has been a part of this journey. Your support, whether you're family, friends, or loyal customers, has meant the world to us. We've built some wonderful relationships along the way, and it's truly saddening to see things end this way. We're grateful that no one was hurt, and we want to apologize to our neighbors who had to experience this unfortunate incident.
A big shout-out goes to our amazing staff who have stood by us through thick and thin. Your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and you've played a significant role in Bar38's story.
Regrettably, due to certain circumstances, we won't be able to reopen Bar38 at this time. Our insurance situation is uncertain, and this has made it challenging for us to continue. To those who had future bookings and events planned, we're truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
We're currently taking some time to regroup and find a way forward. We're fortunate to have such a strong sense of community, with family and friends stepping in to offer their help and support. Your kind and heartfelt messages have been a source of comfort during this period, and we can't thank you enough.
Given the situation, we find ourselves facing some tough decisions. Our families have started a GoFundMe campaign to help us navigate the challenges ahead. Every little bit counts, and we appreciate any support you're able to offer.
We want to wrap up by saying that this journey has been marked by the connections we've made and the memories we've created. While this chapter has come to an unexpected close, we're looking ahead with hope and determination. Let's stay connected and support each other during these uncertain times.
