Our Story
Named in honour of its brave and restless guardian, Wilhelm “Weassy” Weasel, The Tipsy Weasel has seen generations of DAers sharing good times of friendly chats, social drinking, gracious dancing and highly-skilled billiard games.
Weassy was found by Alexander Whitcomb (MAIS 16) at the Naschmarkt, and brought to the DA after being exiled from the Dickson-Ede-Whitcomb manor, as the inhabitants grew tired of Weassy scaring the $h1t out of them (Weassy was reportedly camping in the restroom).
The Social Events Committee (aka Bar Committee) generously welcomed Weassy, and not only provided him with a safe place to live but a job as well: Guardian of the Booze.
Since then, Weassy, restlessly stands guard watching over the place. In honour of his restless effort and dedication to keeping potential alcohol-burglars from seizing the invaluable booze, it was decided christen the traditionally nameless bar as "The Tipsy Weasel".
