Named in honour of its brave and restless guardian, Weassy, The Tipsy Weasel has seen generations of DAers sharing good times of friendly chats, social drinking, gracious dancing and highly-skilled billiard games. Weassy was found by Alexander Whitcomb (MAIS 16) at the Naschmarkt, and brought to the DA after being exiled from the Dickson-Ede-Whitcomb manor, as the inhabitants grew tired of Weassy
scaring the $h1t out of them (Weassy was reportedly camping in the restroom). The Social Events Committee (aka Bar Committee) generously welcomed Weassy, and not only provided him with a safe place to live but a job as well: Guardian of the Booze. In honour of his restless effort and dedication to keeping potential alcohol-burglars from seizing the invaluable booze, it was decided christen the traditionally nameless bar as "The Tipsy Weasel".
