ZANZIBAR GATHERING 2027 _ 27.01 - 04.02  This January, we’re returning to the island, together with BUTIK and Why Not, knowing that Zanzibar Gathering will take a pause in 2028.
With Ramadan gradually moving into our usual dates, we’ve decided to take a break in 2028. What happens after that, we don’t know. Maybe it will simply be a pause. Maybe we’ll look back at these five years as the Zanzibar era. We’re not calling 2027 the last one. But it might be.
 From daytime beach parties and late night club sessions to sandbank and secret island adventures, Zanzibar Gathering is about finding the perfect balance between losing yourself on the dance floor and exploring the wonders of the island. If you’ve ever thought about experiencing Zanzibar Gathering, this might be the time.

LIGHTHOUSE CROATIA _ BY THE WATER

Pool parties have been part of LIGHTHOUSE for years. What some of you might not know is that this idea goes way back to our club days, where things by the pool were already a little more intimate, a little less innocent and definitely not your average daytime party.

This year, we continued that thread with RADIO RUDINA and INFINITY MUSIC TOUR.

With TOSTA VICA, PENGG, BAMBI b2b IVAN, BOVSKEY and SOULY behind the decks.

Thank you to everyone who came through, stayed in the water a little too long, danced in the sun and turned the pool into its own small LIGHTHOUSE universe.

A special thank you goes out to GASTEINER Infinity Water, who have been supporting our pool sessions with real consistency over the years.

LIGHTHOUSE CROATIA 2026 _ FRAMED BY VISION
PART THREE by Jolly Schwarz

Some photographers look for the moment. Others let the moment find them.

Jolly has been with us for years now, moving through LIGHTHOUSE with a camera that feels less like a distance and more like a way of being inside the crowd.

Her perspective is close to people. To movement. To bodies passing through sunlight, dancefloors, water, shadows and small scenes that happen somewhere between the obvious moments. She lets herself drift through the festival and follows what appears in front of her.

Wide angles, soft distortion, direct encounters and quiet observations give her images a slightly surreal physicality. Nothing feels too staged. Nothing feels too far away. The frame bends around people, around gestures, around the strange little energy that only exists when a place starts moving on its own.

Some perspectives don’t try to explain everything. They just stay close enough to notice.

Josha has been shaping the visual memory of LIGHTHOUSE for years now, bringing his own analogue way of looking at the festival. Direct, instinctive, detailed and slightly off-centre.

His images move through flash, grain, bodies, objects, gestures and the strange little fragments around the main event. A detail on the floor. A half-seen face. A piece of light. A moment that feels more like a trace than a statement.

There is a certain honesty in the way he photographs. Not overproduced, not trying too hard, never too clean. More interested in atmosphere than perfection. More interested in what remains than what was supposed to be seen.

We don’t book photographers. We invite perspectives.

For us, photography is not only about documenting what happened. It is about how it was seen. The angle, the instinct, the timing, the colours, the distance, the closeness. The personal eye behind the camera.

That is why we don’t simply book photographers. We invite artists with their own way of looking at things. People who don’t just capture LIGHTHOUSE, but translate it through their own visual language.

As one of the artists behind our visual documentation, Benedikt Ottmann has been joining us for years and has developed his very own perspective on the festival. Raw, close, colourful, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet. His images move between sweaty dancefloor moments, sharp flashes, deep shadows, soft sunsets and those strange little details that often say more than the obvious ones ever could.

This is not just another gallery.

This is LIGHTHOUSE through Benedikt’s eyes. A personal selection of his favourite frames from Croatia 2026.
