Tribaun – Under New Management!

The infamous Robby Haesebrouck has stepped down as owner of Tribaun and passed it over to the long time management team of Max, Jan & Simon.
There will be updates and improvements along the way but we will still focus on what we love, great beer.

Hey everyone!

This Saturday, get ready to embrace the wild and funky side of life once again! We're thrilled to announce our special Cantillon Zwanze event, where we'll be joined by some talented friends from our region who craft amazing spontaneous products. But that's not all – has organized another (Hobby)brewers and beer lovers table, where everyone can share their homebrews and swap stories. It's going to be a blast!

Here's a sneak peek of what's in store: We'll be featuring special wild productions from Birrificio Rethia, Bierol, and Monpiër de Gherdëina. Plus, the folks from BirraFon will be treating us to a special Franconian lager to tantalize our taste buds.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the 2024 Zwanze. It´s alonger story that began by submerging a few dozen bottles of Gueuze in the sea as a collaboration with Sylvain, an abalone farmer in Finistère. These bottles are still fermenting at a depth of 10 meters in the company of his charming creatures. Once a month, Sylvain brings up the cages to add various types of algae for the mollusks to feed on. The guys from cantillon tasted these same algae in tartare during their visit, and the idea came to try them in maceration with Lambic. After several attempts, it turned out that seaweed, specifically the sea lettuce, gave the best result....
