We had the chance to test out the G-RAID Project 2. The content team has dedicated its use to backing up a library of assets and old significant projects. We're no tech gurus, but it's been a lifesaver for our department. It's been a welcome addition to our SSD workflow.

It's pricey, but it does come with RAID configuration flexibility, and you can pair it with a SSD mag to build a hybrid workflow; SSD speed with HDD storage capacity.

RAID 0 (default):
Full storage capability, no backup = fastest, but risky if drive fails.

RAID 1:
Half storage, auto backup = safe, slower

RAID 2/JBOD:
Drives act separately = full storage, no backup, each drive independent
