Dear self, for the sake of your unborn babies you need to find peace with the current situation. This was Max talking to herself as she prepared herself for the morning. Today she was going to be visited by a nurse who was going to check up on her and her current situation. No matter what the situation was, she had to live this chapter and make sure that in the end her babies would be safe. Her mind was racing and she had made up her mind that she was going to do what ever it takes to get out of this place alive. At the present moment, she had not figured out how, as the security was too tight. Maybe, when ever she was going for a scan, she could escape. But where would she go , because surely by now she had lost her job and her place to stay. She couldn't go back to her aunt now and she wouldnt dare go to her step mum. It was almost a dead end.
The next best option was to beg Mr Black to consider releasing her, with an allowance till she found a job. He had to consider her point of view, because surely, her being pregnant definitely wouldnt have been part of his plan.
"God, please go into this man's heart, soften him. Deep down, there must be some ounce of humanity in his heart", she prayed.
She was disturbed from her thoughts by the sound of the door opening, a lady in a nurse's uniform came in.
"She must have been in her late 30s, if not younger.
She greeted and asked Max to take off her clothes for the examinations. She did the necessary tests after which she expressed her concerns as her blood pressure was too high for a person in their 1st trimester.
Vitamins were also prescribed and she advised that she needs to go for a scan and further tests which could only be done by a specialist.
Bingo. Could this be a sign. Was this God's answer to her way out. But the question was, where would she go. She had absolutely no one. Except for a friend or 2 who also wouldnt be in a position to take her in. She didn't want to burden any one.

Mr Black later entered the room and the nurse gave him feedback. "Wouldnt it be better to call in a GP first?" He enquired. The nurse stated that in any case, a GP wouldnt be capable to offer a scan.
The nurse was escorted out and Mr Black came to sit next to her on the couch.
" What am I going to do with you Max?". He asked. Max didnt respond to him, she just took a pillow and hugged it. She was a little bit shaken by what the nurse said. She by all means wanted the babies to be healthy.
I thought I had it all figured out" he sighed
"Mr Black, please let me go. For the sake of these babies , let me go and find a job somewhere to provide for them. This isn't working. Not for you, and especially not for me.
She begged him.
"That is out of the question, I will ask Dr Paul to recommend someone I can take you to. Dont worry about anything else. Dont forget, these are my kids. Mine. I want to be there for them. Regardless of the situation. I'll find a way.
Without saying another word he stood up and left.

After a full year of not visiting the page, we write again, because the hand keeps on itching.

Insert 35
"You're scaring me, what's wrong?" Max had worry written all over her face. Mr Black forced a smile and lifted up her chin gently with his index finger. " it's nothing for you to crack your skull about, just worry about keeping Healthy and looking beautiful, not that will take any effort". He said
"Nic, you're scaring me". She was disappointed that he did not trust her enough to tell her what was bothering him.
He looked down for few seconds and looked back at her for the longest moment.
" We have to go back". He said hesitantly. I dont like that because it means that everything changes back". Max didn't say anything. She just stood up and stormed out to her room. She sat on her bed. She sat there for hours. Aunt Sue popped in to check on her as instructed by the boss but also told her that she had no idea what was going on as the boss had not given her any reason why they were going back so suddenly. The afternoon was spent packing as they would be travelling the next morning.
Everything was so abrupt and Mr Black kept his distance. Max knew that he was doing so to avoid confrontation.
They arrived back in the old place and Max was placed back in the old room. The first night was the most difficult as she was locked up again with no access to the whole house like it was back in the farm. She cried herself to sleep that night as her heart was in peices from Mr Black's sudden cold treatment. She couldn't understand why this man was treating her like a prisoner again. "Its for your own good" he had told her when the guards put back the blindfold on her when they entered the yard. Max didn't say anything to him the whole time they were travelling as she was too devastated to talk and feared that if she had to say anything, it wouldn't be nice and p**s him off even more.
He kept away for days but made sure that she was well taken care of. She was reaciving VIP treatment even better than before, change of wardrobe, massage treatments and facials. In a weeks time she was starting to get used to the new setup and no longer cared that Mr Black was ignoring her existence.
It was after a week that he came to check on her. He looked drained and looked like he had not slept in days.
"Mommy", he said handing her a bunch of flowers which she pushed aside and went back to what she was watching on TV, not that she was concentrating on it anymore. She wished she could comfort him as he really looked tired and bothered.
He came to sit next to her on the couch. His scent made her to melt a bit and a tear escaped her eye and she tried to hide it unsuccessfully from him.
"Sweetheart, if I could have this any other way, I would, believe me, but there is just something that I have to handle. I cant do this any other way. Its for your own safety.
Max tried to answer but had a lump in her throat. She was still looking at the TV, not wanting him to see her tears.
"Can you please just look at me and let it all out, please, let me have it." He begged
"Its ok Mr Black. I get it. I am just your slave, a little s*x toy that you used and just shoved in the drawer after you're done with it. What I dont get is why you acted as if there is slighted chance of having the tiniest humanity towards me. I also do not know what I was expecting, but this, this kind of treatment is far from it. Now can you please leave me in peace. Please. If you're not prepared to treat me like a human being. Please leave."
Max, this is not fair. And it couldn't be more further from the thruth, please be patient".
His phone rang. And he nonchalantly answered.
"I have to go".
Max didnt answer. He let out a deep sigh and stood up.
"Be sure to let the staff know of anything that you need. I will assign you with a caregiver and You will be given a phone that will be soft locked to phone me and a few identified staff when ever you need anything. I will leave everything for your call. But for now, I must go." He tried to go down on grab a kiss and Max ducked it.
He left.

Insert 34

"Jah that's definitely another heartbeat" confirmed the doctor as he examined Max via the scan. "Congratulations Mr and Mrs Black. Its twins.".
"Ow my God. 🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️ Mommy, its .... Ow Lord". Nic could contain himself. He neared max and hugged her.
Max had no words. She was still in disbelief.
The doctor did not let them leave before warning them that this was a high risk pregnancy and Max had to take extra precautions if she wants to carry the pregnancy full term. It was also life threatening for the mother as well so she was told to have a good rest especially now since it was the 1st trimester. They left the doctors rooms and went shopping for special dinner which was going to be a mini braai. "I need to start feeding you now, you heard what the doctor said".
" Hahahahaha that's not what he said". They drove back home and arrived just after lunch. Max asked to be excused from lunch and took an afternoon nap before the braai. She woke up to find the fire already burning, salad were already prepared. She went to join her man by the fire as he carefully grilledd the meat ensuring that the steaks were a perfect medium rare as per Max's request. The lobster was also grilled to perfection. Aunt Sue came to congratulate Max as Mr Black couldn't wait to brag. "Congratulations child. I will take care of you whilst you're here but you also have to look after yourself. Nicholas told me everything ". Aunt Sue joined them for dinner as they had it in the patio. She soon left the love birds to enjoy the moonlight until they took the party inside.
"Let me go run a herbal bath for you mommy. You look like you might pass out anytime. And that tub is big enough for 2". He definitely joined her in the bath and they retired to bed.
"Good morning sunshine" That was Mr Black waking Max up with a light peck on the cheek. Max wasn't ready to open her eyes yet
They got out of bed after an hour and prepared for the day.
Max was dressed in a camel satin pleated skirt and a brown tshirt with golden studs. She put on a brown slip on as her feet were a bit swollen. They had a hearty omelette for breakfast and spent the morning in the office as there was a lot of backlog.
Days went by and to Max's satisfaction, nothing was heard of from Cruella De Ville. They were sitting in the lounge one day when Mr Black received an intense call that he had to take outside. It took about 45 minutes or so. When he came back, he didnt say anything but his face said it all that something was up.

The next morning Max did her morning routine. It was a hot summer's day. She picked out a black and white maxi dress with a very provocative slit. She put on a white gladiator sandal and applied natural look make up with ML 15 inuka lipstick. She went outside for some breath of fresh air. She had missed breakfast on purpose and thought she would ask for a sandwich later. She went to the office to check on stuff just to avoid the love birds. She checked on all correspondence. After attending to all admin she took a walk in the garden. She was interrupted by Aunt Sue who caught up with her " My goodness weve been looking all over for you, where have you been hiding all morning?".
"Ow hi Aunt Sue, I thought I'd stay out of the way of the happy couple, I was in the office and thought I'd come here just to clear my head."
"It cant be easy huh child?, don't worry, Nicholas can be all dodgy and all but he's not at all heartless. He'll figure this out. And by the way, he and cruella left this morning, he told me to tell you that you have a picnic lunch date later I'll also be preparing a special dinner for you two. You deserve it."
"Yeeeeeeey, cant wait" said Max sarcastically rolling her eyes. "This bastard really has his slice of toast buttered on both sides doesn't he"
Aunt Sue gave her a light nudge on the shoulder " come on now child, cut him some slack. He is trying. I've never seen him like this before. He really has it for you. Just....." she said shrugging her shoulders.
After picking up some herbs from the garden they went inside. Max went into her room to kill some time. In no time she heard the car driving in and she revamped her make up. She was still busy in the mirror when she heard the door open. "Are you ready for lunch? I'm starving come now let's go" They collected the basket that was already prepared by Aunt Sue. They walked to the other side of the yard where she had never been before where there were horse stables.
"Is the madam not joining us" asked Max as they were setting up.
He continued with what he was doing before sitting besides her on the rug set.
"No, Fiona is gone." He paused. " I did tell you that I would be making things easy for you. So jah, you dont have to worry about her anymore. She left. And please, can we not ruin this pleasant lunch. We can talk about her later. What we need to talk about is our doctors appointment tomorrow. Remember?. I wonder if they will be able to tell us the s*x. I'm anxious about that one."
" Hahahahaha dont youthink it's too soon." The doctor did say it's only 6 weeks.
When they counted the time, it looked like she conceived on their very first s*xual encounter".
They spent the entire afternoon fantasizing about the baby.
Later that evening they had an intimate dinner in the lounge.
Aunt Sue was adamant on making sure that max is on a well balanced diet.
"Ow I forgot to give these to you earlier," It was a goodies package with assorted nuts, dried fruits and chocolates. "Wow, Mr Black, thank you" she exclaimed
" Open the small package" he said with a twinkle in his eyes "What is it? She opened excitedly "You'll have to open it to find out"
She opened to find a white gold necklace and a set of diamond earrings.
"Wow, "she paused trying to hold back the tears, " I dont know what to say, no one has ever done this for me before".
" Well mommy, you'd better get used to it "
I am a man of many talents and I knew you needed some cheering up".
There is a whole lot of other things I can do that you'd never even guess"
"Like"????? "DARE I ASK ?
"Like dancing", he said, " I can show you"
Ow my word. He stood to put on some music and display the most provocative dance to some Latin music. Max was laughing the whole time. Shocked to see that the man can really move. " I'm so glad I can entertain you".
They ended the night with an adult session in bed, 'exercising the baby' they called it.
The next morning was the doctors appointment. 😥😥😥😥😥🍼🍼🍼💃
