Steak 'n Ale Pub and Restaurant Steak 'n Ale burnt to the ground in the early hours of Saturday 21 April 2012 and is thus closed until further notice.

Steak 'n Ale has been the home of South African Alternative bands, regulars and music fans for the last 16 years. Before that Steak 'n Ale was known as a traditional pub and restaurant. That tradition carries on through the owners, Sean Manson and Grant Bubb. Their passion for Steak 'n Ale, the music and it's people are in their bones. Steak 'n Ale offers live, acoustic, original music to customers, whilst having dinner and a glass of wine. During the day, SchoolBoy the legendary barman will ensure your visit to be a real treat.
