Cafe Blanca

Cafe Blanca Cafe Blanca IS BACK for the rest of 2012 Cafe Blanca first opened its doors on the 19th September 2008. It was a small bar with a big personality.

The drinks and food were good but the vibe was great! The first 2 months were hugely successful and thus expansion was the only way forward. In February 2009, after 2 months of revamping, the new look for Cafe Blanca was released. With two 3 meter long bar counters and a stunning outdoor setting. The unique vibe and atmosphere was an instant hit, not even a pirate could capture it. People from all

over the country could come to a place in Grahamstown that was just cool in every sense. The 64 'strong' cocktail menu and crazy drinks specials brought many people through Blanca's doors. In February 2011, the time to close the front doors had come. To celebrate the life of Cafe Blanca in a way that would represent it best, Cafe Blanca staff and customers came together for one truly epic night. The Cafe Blanca closing party, themed 'Cafe Blanca goes Cape Town Electro' featuring DJ Chris Jack from Cape Town, saw the coolest little bar become the most memorable party of the year! Cafe Blanca with its 4 bars, outdoor burger-grill, front of house, dance floor and DJ box successfully put on an event that will be long remembered. On the 28th of February Cafe Blanca closed its doors to the public. NOW...Cafe Blanca is re-opening its doors to the public for good! To celebrate our re-opening after a fantastic festival, Cafe Blanca will throw another re-opening party Friday 27th July. A live DJ and a sundowner set with drink specials running the whole day!
