This weekend at the Palmetto State Championship Women’s 9-Ball Championship was definitely a learning experience!

I started off strong, winning my first match 8-1. It definitely should’ve been 8-0, but I cut the 9-ball in the side and ended up scratching in the bottom corner. After that, I won my next match and finished the first day 3-0, keeping myself on the winners’ side.

Yesterday, I played Ashley Benoit and unfortunately lost 8-3. I had a lot of bad rolls throughout the match, but that’s just part of the game sometimes. I then played my next match and lost 5-3. I had a chance to keep fighting, but I ended up rattling the 6-ball and gave her the game.

I ended up finishing 5th–6th out of 26! 🏆 While it wasn’t the finish I was hoping for, I’m proud of making it that far and there’s definitely a lot I can take away from this weekend. I know what I need to work on, and I’m going to keep putting in the work to come back stronger! 💪
