Czech Mates. It’s been a long time coming. We’re honoured to announce Bila Shaka’s collaboration brew with Budweiser Budvar, the national brewery of the Czech Republic. It’s been a privilege to be chosen by Budweiser Budvar as Africa’s first brewery to create a collaboration lager. Using the traditional Czech method of a double decoction and a long, slow maturation which perfectly compliments Kenya’s finest natural spring water. Centuries of brewing knowledge combined with cutting edge technology was capped off with the personal visits of the Budvar team and their Brewmaster to brew with us in the Kedong Valley earlier this year.
