Those passing by late at night may have other destinations in mind - a pub, club or restaurant. Perhaps their busy life has left them little time for prayer or maybe they have not entered a Church for many years. We want to invite people to pause for a moment, to put aside their initial plan and to come into the church to light a candle. The Church is open to all, and visitors can stay for as litt
le or as long as they wish. Whoever enters the church is usually surprised by the atmosphere. Live music is playing quietly in candlelight, and the Blessed Sacrament is exposed on the altar. Inside the church visitors are welcome to receive a quote from scripture, to write a prayer intention, to speak with a priest, or to simply sit in God's presence.
