At True Taps & Spirits, we believe the best events are about bringing people together and celebrating the community we call home.

So when we heard **Taste of our Town** was all about showcasing local flavor, we knew we wanted to make the drinks part of that story too!

We reached out to some of our favorite local businesses to create a true taste of Seymour & Jackson County.

Our Wine of the Week is one of our sweet wines, Plum! This delightfully refreshing 100% plum wine is like biting into a delicious fresh picked plum. It is slightly tart up front with a sweeter finish and pairs perfectly with Asian dishes. Stop by Nashville or Freetown to give this one a try! 🍷

On Saturday, September 12, downtown Seymour will set the table for the inaugural Taste of Our Town, a brand new evening built around local flavor, live music and a night out that’s worth the drive.

Spend the evening sampling bites from local restaurants and food vendors while enjoying live jazz and the atmosphere of downtown Seymour. It’s a chance to experience a little bit of what our local food scene has to offer, all in one place and all in one night.

Want to make more of the trip? Book a room at one of our local hotels or Airbnbs, stay the night and make a weekend out of it. Wake up Sunday morning, grab coffee from a local coffee shop or settle in for breakfast at one of our hometown diners before making the drive home.
