DELTA FORCE IMPROV presents THE GOOD, THE BAD, and THE SINGAPOREAN.

April 30th is the anniversary of the death of legendary Italian filmmaker Sergio Leone. To commemorate the life and work of Leone, Delta Force Improv, Singapore's pre-eminent practitioners of long-form improv and sketch comedy present a fully improvised Won Ton Noodle Western, featuring our full ensemble in our first show since circuit breaker!

The stand-up portion of the show will feature Delta Force's stand-ups in an old-fashioned, wild-west style comedy shoot-out, co-hosted by Ram, Jerry and Jag, entitled "SHOOT-OUT AT THE I'M OK, YOU'RE NOT CORRAL".

Headlining the stand-up portion of the show will be none other than FAKKAH FUZZ!

Delta Force Improv is known for their entertaining and highly creative thematic improv shows, utilizing original games and genre-bending long-form structures. They have entertained audiences with an unbroken string of sold-out shows since their initial outing in May of 2018, a comic adaptation of Shakespear's Macbeth that garnered rave reviews and a loyal following here in Singapore.

There's no way to put this lightly, so let's get straight to it: The Merry Lion is done.

Sort of…. At least we are gonna hibernate for a while!

With the future of live events in Singapore hanging in the air, it has become impossible to continue what we've been doing for the past 3 years - but we're confident this isn't the end. We have brought laughter, comedy and helped contribute to an already thriving comedy community and we shall be back as soon as the masks are off.

We're grateful to both the audiences that have come to our shows and the people that kept the place running, but it wouldn't have been a comedy club without the comedians, and although The Merry Lion won't be there, they will!

And now more than ever they need your support, so empower your local arts scene and go watch a show (safely.. or in the n**e from the bottom down)!

The comedy scene has been shocked by the tragic news that Leon Chin has died in his sleep on Sunday.

Leon was a comedian, our friend, and a powerful force of positivity in the Singapore comedy scene. He always had a twinkle in his eye, a mischievous grin and he brought laughter on and off the stage. We shall remember him with love.

Leon helped us through the tough times when our comedy club was struggling. He listened when we needed to be heard, he shared kind words when we needed support and he built the most successful open-mic comedy night in Singapore's history. We are forever grateful for all his efforts, talents, and abundance of goodwill. We will all miss him dearly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
