👀 First Impression:
No research done here guys but our first impression was "Hmmm, could be interesting because it looked like an old post office maybe?" Ya gotta see the stunning historic courthouse directly across the street!
🗺️ Why we ended up here:
A Saturday out looking at my next listing and meeting a photographer at one of my current listings in Rockdale,TX! Feeling thirsty so we started looking on the map for a sports bar and grill! There was a game on that day, too!!
😎 The vibe: 🌿chill 👏
Walking in at 2:30 pm-ish, slow, as far as patrons, but that's ok we were hungry, thirsty and the game had started! Plus drinks! Billiards, darts and a U-shaped bar. The welcoming bartender looking pretty and unassuming until we asked what the food was like! That's how we found out she was the owner! She felt weird answering because it was her own food! So we asked, "Well, tell us what you're known for!?" and that had her listing some Yummy foods off the menu! Let's just say the food was great with a well-rounded menu, not just your typical bar foods, so Ladies, I got you! We'll save you the read on the serves but here's her page to follow! Cameron Beer Market If you find yourself out in Milam County.. spend some time there and tell them the Bar-Nossieur sent ya! Family friendly, not smoky, enjoyable atmosphere in the heart of Cameron, TX. We will go back to experience the night life there one day!
🍽️ What we ordered:
Italian Sandwich 🥪, homemade onion rings and honey glazed, crispy brussel sprouts! 🤌 We always share!🍺 We stick to our usual go-tos; he orders a draft Bud Light or Busch Lite with a side of Jamison and I'm not the beer-type so I took her suggestion and tried the 🍹 Liquid Ma*****na drink (not what you think, come on, it's just a name). 🪩 It's the vibe and ambiance we're going for after all! It's the weekend and we wanna relax!
🎶 The music: 🔥 Fantastic 80’s and 90’s playlist!
🌟 What made it stand out:
There was a 🐾 Pet Adoption Event happening in the backyard! (Sadly, we didn't get to adopt this time!) 💫 I'm gonna add this: The business owner stood out. Warm & welcoming, accommodating to our high-maintenance questions, like "Uh, can we watch the Longhorns vs Aggies baseball game?" 🤘
