Summer has arrived and there is no better way to enjoy this season than to open a bottle our 2017 Katana Sauvignon Blanc. You may find it at Michelin starred restaurant Octavia in San Francisco. Many thanks to Wine Director Chris Gaither for having our wines featured on the fantastic wine list!

It has been nearly a month since they opened. We had the honor and pleasure of dining here at their first week, what an incredible experience! Just wanted to say a big thank you to Head Sommelier Freddy Foot and the Birdsong family for supporting our brand and featuring our 2017 Katana Sauvignon Blanc on their fun and notable wine list. Everyone, this is the place to wine and dine so book your reservations!

Birdsong is set out to explore, discover and showcase the original cuisine of the Pacific Northwest. Our guiding principle is to restore some of the ingredients that were essential to the food history of the land around us.

The people of the wine community and chefs joined forces with the Feast It Forward Foundation to prepare and cook gourmet meals to feed all the firefighters and people who lost their homes from the devastation over the last few weeks. Still lots of help needed. If anyone can make time to volunteer, the foundation is a great place to help by working at shelters and other sites to support in this time of need.

We are very, very close to harvesting any day now! Performing a brix check with the refractometer before we pick. The Sauvignon Blanc looks great at Morgaen Lee Vineyard.
