Have you been enjoying all the specials lately?? If so, give alex_waverley a shout out next time you see him at the markets. He’s been with us now for a couple years and continues to grow with us. He’s become an integral part of our production managing inventory, ordering, production schedules, and even does deliveries to our restaurant partners. It’s been a real privilege working with him and seeing his creativity come to life through specials. He created one of our favorite pasta dishes ever - the miso & spam carbonara. Say hi to Alex and mind your words because one slip up can lead to some of the cheesiest dad puns ever.

We’ve stepped out a little on this one. Inspired by one of our favorite Chinese dishes Mapo Tofu, we’ve made a mapo sauce for our special this weekend. If you haven’t had it before, this packs a lil heat from different chilis and Szechuan peppercorns that give a lil tingly sensation when eaten. We omitted the tofu for a lil extra ground pork from The Meat Market of Cave Creek. We think the best way to combat the heat here in valley is to fight fire with fire. So for those wanting to spice it up, this is the one. Find it at Gilbert Farmers Market and Uptown Market AZ this weekend. We recommend with one of our long noodles and this weekend we’re sending mafaldine and pappardelle, which would go great with this.
