I would like to introduce to you... 🥁🥁🥁... the new beers of Iron Exchange Tavern & Brewery in Maple Plain! The new head brewer Chris has been hard at work in the brewhouse and has some incredible beers on a very diverse tap list! There is definitely something for everyone, but here are a few of the highlights from the incredible beer dinner this past weekend:

Purpleberry Puffs - One of my favorite sours currently! A delicious mixed berry sour. There is so much flavor in this, you can literally taste every berry Chris chose for this combination. This paired with a custard tart, really made it feel like pie in a glass. Gotta love starting dinner with dessert! 😜

Czech Pilsner - This beer is Chris' newest addition and is a true beer gem for flavor, experience, and authenticity! All ingredients and methods used were to recreate as close as possible a true Czech style pilsner, and all of the hard work behind it shows! Absolutely brought me back to Europe and the foam pour just made it sooooo enjoyable! 🤩

West Coast IPA - just a truly delicious, hop-forward, crisp IPA. 🍻

Belgian Dubbel - Definitely one of the more complex beers on the menu- the spices and banana notes were really prominent for me. A wonderful warming beer for the chilly fall season!

Mexican Lager - this crispy Mexican lager is a perfect example of the easy-drinker! Crisp, clean, beautiful corn flavor. This was the beer paired with our appetizer course and it was just the perfect way to start the meal!

This is your sign to get out to Maple Plain! Not only do they have some incredible beers, their food is always stellar and the bar is absolutely beautiful! Go check them out and be sure to let me know which beers were your favorites!! 🍻

Well... what an awesome season of Oktoberfests!!! Zach and I had a blast at as always! Can't wait until next year!

This weekend there are a few Oktoberfests left that I know of, let me know in the comments if I missed any!

And several city Oktoberfest events: Chaska, St.Michael, Hopkins (The Boar)...

Who's excited for another fun weekend full of Oktoberfests!?!? I know I am!

Today I'll be starting out at one I love to attend each year, TC Oktoberfest at the State Fair Grounds! This one is always such a blast! With tons of activities, live music, many food options and of course SO MANY beer options - you absolutely cannot go wrong here! There is something for everyone and guaranteed to be a great time!

Get out there today and get your Oktoberfest on at Utepils! Zach and I were out last night for some beer, pretzels, brats, and music! Check out their page for all of the events going on today and next weekend! Corgi Bingo, polka, Stein holding... there is a ton going on! 🥰

It's that time of year again! The weather gets cooler, the days get shorter, and the beer fun is just ramping up!!! Oktoberfest season is here!!! 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍

My first Oktoberfest this season was just dropped by ! Just tapped Friday and ready to be enjoyed!

This Friday (19th), I'll be heading over to to break in the season in style!! Two weekends to join in on all of the fun! Literally one of the best places to enjoy the fall on their patio while enjoying wonderful beer, live music, free meat raffle and all of the festivities!
