Well… hi 👋🏼 It’s been a minute.
A really long minute 😅
If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, the short answer is: busy.
Between running Twist Events, working full-time as an event producer, handling social media for another company, bartending, and squeezing in a bit of life outside of work… Posting on social media sometimes falls to the bottom of my list.
Because here’s the thing: I’m a bartender, not an influencer 🍸
I love creating experiences. I love working events. I love making cocktails, working with my team, meeting clients, and being part of the moments people actually remember.
Social media can feel overwhelming when you’re trying to keep up with everything and run the business behind the scenes. So instead of waiting for the perfect photo or caption, I just wanted to pop in and say hi.
Because apparently, I have a LOT to catch you up on.
First and most importantly… I got engaged 💍❤️
And then there’s Twist.
On October 4th, Twist Events officially turned 9 YEARS OLD 🎂🥂

When I look through these photos, I can’t help but think about how much has changed since that very first event in 2017 — which, for the record, was in a mattress store.
What started as Twist Events by Chelsea has grown into a team, a business, and a huge part of my life.
And this summer? BUSY.
Weddings. Celebrations. Corporate events. Beautiful bars. Endless cocktails. Long days. Early mornings. Behind-the-scenes chaos. And so many incredible people who trusted us with their events.
I especially love looking back at these photos and seeing the people behind Twist. The bartenders who show up, work hard, make guests feel welcome, keep things moving, laugh with me through the chaos, and help make this business what it is today ❤️
Nine years ago, it was just me figuring it out as I went.
Today, I get to look around and see a team of people helping bring this thing to life.
It’s surreal.
And somewhere between the events, cocktails, weddings, meetings, emails, coffee, caffeine… and probably a few glasses of wine… I’ve also learned that building a business is a lot like building a life. There’s no perfect formula. You just keep showing up, keep learning, keep growing, and try to enjoy the ride.
Thank you to every client who's trusted us, every venue and vendor who's welcomed us, every bartender who's worn a Twist apron, every friend and family member who's supported me, and everyone who's followed along over the years.
From a mattress store in 2017 to where we are today in 2026… I really can’t wait to see what year 10 looks like.
