Last weekend, the delightful and talented Spanish harpsichordist Ignacio Prego performed a stunning Valentine's recital titled 'Le Rossignol en amour' at 28 Chairs. The sold-out program featured two Bach French Suites (4th and 6th), selected pieces by Rameau, and Louis Couperin's Suite in D major. François Couperin’s ‘Nightingale in Love’ gave the program its title. After the music, the audience enjoyed a seated, candlelit dinner provided by Susan Gage Catering. A beautiful evening celebrating the love of live music—and wonderful friends! A special thank-you to our dear Jill Chessen for her help! 💓
