Tasting at Capital City. Most of us REALLY like Big Guy Rye (7.2 ABV, 57 IBU). Fresh & hoppy. It's their seasonal.

On our way home from Pittsburgh we made a detour at the Brew Gentlemen taproom in historic Braddock PA (open Weds through Sun). Delicious General Braddock's IPA and Akamai DIPA, interesting White Sky chai spiced wheat and Lemondrop saison. Didn't try the Garden Party cucumber wheat or Loose Seal farmhouse ale, but people seemed to like them. It's definitely worth a visit if you're traveling between the DMV and Pittsburgh.

Just tried Our Elaborate Plans IPA from Ocelot Brewing. Another quality IPA from Adrian & crew. If you haven't tried their beer, stop by the brewery or look for them at local restaurants & stores. Their stuff is GOOD!

Just tried Graffuti House West Coast IPA from Old Bust Head. Among the best we've tried today.
