The rock head on this vac truck was absolutely worn out & was well over due for a huge repair!! … to repair this we had to remove all of the old rusty material, brackets & the rock head ware plate that’s on the inside.

After the prep work was completed we got creative & made a card board template & transferred that to our cad program “while on top of the truck”

The patch we made on cad was burned out on our plasma table & bent with a torch & hammer to match the radius of the rock head.

Once I perfected the fitment of this 1/4” patch, I got her burned in to place! I must say it came out great.

This good customer of mine was in need for privacy panels to fill in the gaps between his pre-fabricated gate posts & stone columns!
We came up with an easy solution to fix that issue.

We were able to take our cad program to his home, design the panels on site, fabricate them here at Nupen welding & got them blasted/powder coated.

After powder was completed we took the panels to the site & got them secured into place!

We were presented with the opportunity of getting to build these custom benches for our home town / old high school brentsville! They’re adding on a brand new building in the back & couldn’t find anyone that could get these benches done in the time frame they needed. We of course did what it took & knocked it out for them.

We designed the benches on cad to reassure perfect fitment & also found a way to make that one massive bench fit properly with a column being in the center.

Once all of the test fitting was completed we had a local powder coating shop get these things blasted, primed & coated! They killed it on the color & spray out. They turned out incredible.

We are the shop that enjoys coming up with ideas, over coming challenges & executing the job professionally

Very grateful for the opportunity to put our name on a piece that will be apart of our home town for generations to come.

These MASSIVE industrial gates just got wrapped up for the soon to be LARGEST solar panel factory in the country.

We definitely stepped out of our comfort zone on this one with the full installation but now we have the knowledge & will power to make the next set go even smoother & faster.

These gates were measured out on site, fully designed on cad to the clients spec, built all in house, hot dipped galvanized by our friends at southern galv CO then installed by us!

Stepping out of comfort zones can be nerve racking but so rewarding. With aligning the machine rental /concrete in the same day all while beating the weather was nothing but shy of challenge.
I’m honestly satisfied that we got the opportunity to do it all from start to finish.

Fast forward to 3 weeks later & the grass is growing back & it looks like we were never there👊🏼😎

A late evening repair for our friends at badger!! This water neck was leaking bad & is actually one of the things on these trucks that is never used. It was easier to get rid of it & just plate it off. Our burn table in the shop made quick work of those 6” circles!

Our awesome friends from Fauquier Automotive called this past week & was in a tight spot needing this part made asap… I called multiple people/machine shops to replicate this part for Mr. Tudor & unfortunately no one could help with the time crunch we were under. So like always, we came up with a solution for the problem & got creative. After a few hours we had another replicated part & was able to get it to Mr. Tudor the same day!

Thank you as always Mr. Tudor for the opportunities you bring us!!! This was a fun little challenge

Finally got around to upgrading the water pan on our burn table! We made it a few inches deeper on both sides to help contain more of the water while the torch is making a pass.

A local shop with a fiber laser cut the DXF files we provided and helped bend the 5-foot side panels. From there, we TIG welded everything together, and it turned out awesome.

It looks great, & works even better.

Alittle bit of race car action this week has been almost like therapy! This type of work is so enjoyable. Figuring out geometry & watching the parts pile get smaller is rewarding.

I had to get creative with setting the motor in the car since we don’t have the luxury of a frame table … (yet) … the chasi of the body is currently sitting on blocks with shims. This is actually mimicking ride height with no load on the suspension. Then we got the rear 4 link set up & positioned correctly. This helped find the crank center line, once that was taken care of we got the motor mocked up with our leveling feet. Now it’s time for motor/trans brackets to be laser cut out 😎
