We’re back with Wine Shop Wednesday, and we’ve got one of our all-time favorite producers from one of our all-time favorite white wine regions. Famille Hugel was founded in the 17th century and is currently in its 13th generation of family-run ownership and management.

We included their wine in our July Primum Familiae Vini seminar, and were so happy with their “Cuvee les Amours” Pinot Blanc, we decided to make it our unofficial wine of the summer.

Not only is this wine bright, racy and mineral-tinged, it is clearly built for the long haul. Plus, it pairs with everything.

🌊 Friday Night Flights: Island Wines 📅 Friday, July 10 | 5:30–7:30 PM
Some vineyards are planted so close to the coast, drinkers swear they can taste the ocean in the glass.
This week we’re island-hopping across the Mediterranean and Atlantic — exploring maritime terroirs where sandy soils and pre-phylloxera vines produce wines of incredible concentration and tension. A curated flight of six wines, each with its own story of salt, sun, and sea.

We’re looking for a warm, organized Hospitality & Events Lead to join our team in Walla Walla.
This part-time role is ideal for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in creating thoughtful, welcoming experiences for members and guests.
You’ll support member hospitality, wine deliveries, tours, events, retail sales, and day-to-day operations.
Walla Walla, WA Thurs–Sat | 10 AM–5 PM Semi-regular evening availability for events 20–25 hours/week | $25/hr + share of wine sales Perks include employee pricing + a personal wine locker.
