AZTECA BAR & GRILL IS HIRING!
We’re a small, family owned Mexican restaurant in Walkersville, MD, looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Server / Front of House Team Member.
Our restaurant seats approximately 45 guests, and our front-of-house staff handles various responsibilities throughout the day. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, can stay organized, and is willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and seat customers
• Take orders and serve food and beverages
• Prepare cocktails, margaritas, and non-alcoholic drinks
• Answer phone calls and handle takeout orders
• Process payments using our POS system
• Bus, clean, and reset tables
• Maintain a clean and organized dining and bar area
• Assist with other front of house duties as needed
Schedule:
• Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week
• Primarily Monday–Thursday afternoon/evening shifts, typically around 4–9 PM
• Occasional weekend availability needed for catering events and additional coverage
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate availability whenever possible
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Dependable, friendly, and willing to learn
• Comfortable multitasking and working independently
Compensation & Benefits:
• $5/hour base wage plus tips, with total eligible earnings guaranteed to meet or exceed Maryland’s $15/hour minimum wage requirements
• Servers keep 100% of their individual tips
• Food provided during shifts

• No mandatory tip outs to kitchen or support staff
Training & Support:
We provide hands on training to help employees become comfortable with our menu, POS system, beverage preparation, and daily operations. Experienced staff will be available to offer guidance and assistance when needed.
