When the time came to make this thing truly mine, I knew the name had to mean something. I wanted a word I could build on, a name that meant something to me personally and something to every woman who sits in my chair. Something that could grow and evolve with me in the future as well.
Alignment is something I think about a lot, in my work, in my home, in my faith. It's not just a word I liked the sound of. It's the thing I've been chasing and helping others find for a long time now.
The first layer is the one you might expect. When your hair actually fits your life, when you're not fighting it every morning or rethinking it every time you catch your reflection, something settles. You stop spending energy on it. You just feel like yourself. That's what I want every single client to walk out of here with.
The second layer goes a little deeper. Color is something I take seriously, maybe more than people realize. The right colors, the ones that actually belong near your face, that work with your skin and your eyes and who you are right now, do something. They make you look like yourself on your best day. Not overdone. Not like someone else. Just you, but clearer. When your colors are aligned with who you actually are, you carry yourself differently. I've seen it happen over and over again.
And then there's the third layer. The one that's hardest to put into words, but the most important one to me.
When my life is aligned with my faith, everything else finds its place. My work, my family, my purpose, it all makes sense. It all holds together. That's not something I keep separate from what I do here. It's the foundation the whole thing is built on. It always has been.
So when I finally had the chance to name this place something truly mine, 'aligned' was the only word that felt right.
Because that's what I want for you, and honestly, it's what I want for myself too.
Beauty and style that meet you where you are in life. That's what this is. That's what it's always been.
