But heck yeah — love me some Belgian beer. 🍻🇧🇪

On a beer pilgrimage through Belgium 10 years ago, we spent a weekend at the Chimay guest house at Scourmont Abbey. I have pictures of my kids with monks, memories of some interesting food, cows mooing all night… you get the idea. Peaceful, simple, natural & quiet — and an experience that gave me a whole new appreciation for the history, tradition and craft behind it.

Anyway, my fondness for Trappist beer is real.

HOWEVER… I’m certainly not passing up a Delirium either. 🩷🐘🍻. When in Brussels…..

Vinification: 60% fermentations in wood and 40% in steel
