Our Story

I started sewing at the age of 7. I think the entire 22yrs in mass market industry to follow, I had been searching to get back to the art of design and being hands on. I've had years of experience now in price point, witnessing the wasteful and harmful practice of this industry. nothing mattered but to get the lowest price. I knew it was time to get out and invest in something I truly believed in, building closer relationships with the customer and any other like-minded communities. Sooo, I took a huge leap of faith and left that industry to start AIYIA. I hope that you love it, connect to it -and the message behind the product.

All AIYIA are not always made of sustainable raw material (recycled cotton or polyester) which still require a harmful production process.

Our products are made from deadstock fabric, waste materials and vintage cloths, hence cutting out. We are cutting out unnecessary product ion and therefore saving fabric that would otherwise be tossed into landfills. this means0% environment impact! No making fabric or waste at all!

Due to the nature of the limited raw material resource availability, all items are limited edition or one of a kind.
