🔙 to a truly special day at Bear Branch Tavern.

A few years ago, former Washington Commanders player Santana Moss () stopped by to surprise a group of Madison High School students who were recognized for showing extraordinary kindness and appreciation to their school custodian. Their simple act of compassion made a lasting impact, and Santana was there to celebrate what being a good teammate, student, and community member is all about.

Fast forward to today, and that message of character continues to resonate. This past month, it was announced that the Washington Commanders’ annual Media Good Guy Award will now be known as the Santana Moss Good Guy Award—an honor presented each season to the player who best exemplifies professionalism, leadership, and character on and off the field + shows grace, loving kindness & cooperation with the media.

Congratulations to Santana on this well-deserved recognition. His impact on the game, the community, and the next generation extends far beyond the football field.

A big thank you to all the families who make our tavern the go-to gathering spot. We love seeing friends and loved ones come together to create great memories.

It still doesn’t feel real… today is officially Logan’s last day at Bear Branch Tavern. 🥹

For the past 15 years, Logan has been so much more than our Director of Operations for our Vintage Restaurant Group — he has been the heart behind so many of the moments, memories, and traditions that make Bear Branch Tavern feel like home. His leadership, loyalty, friendship, and steady presence have helped shape this place into the family it is today. 💙

There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for everything he has poured into this team, this restaurant, and this community over the years.

Today is the day, and while it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye, we are so excited for Logan and this next chapter ahead. We know he will continue to do amazing things wherever life takes him.

If you have a favorite Logan memory, a story, or simply want to wish him well, please stop by today and shower him with all the love he deserves. 🫶
