With lots of hard work, love, frustration and hurdles and nothing but all of you in mind! We’ve come so far from where we began. We started with bare bones and now the mini salon has: insulation, Sheetrock, it’s being prepped for paint, it now has electricity, and running water. The equipment is ready to be used, the product is waiting to make your journey feel relaxing and luxurious. It also has me! I’m so close to having everything ready for YOU- the missing puzzle piece that makes this journey as special as it is. Though there is still a handful of things to do I am so thankful and proud of this little salon and all of our team/family for making this dream a reality. It’s been a year since I decided this was something the islands community would benefit from. I look forward to serving you all in the near future and thank you for your patience as I continue to juggle many things at once!

A little before and after! Our lady in red had a bit going on and was attempting to make things a bit more dimensional and cohesive before prom. We added highlights and lowlights and gave her some toning and a fresh blended layered cut!

Let’s have that conversation…. Yes your ends…. Why are they sparse and why are they splitting?

•Hydration- the process of wetting your hair
•Moisturizing- “conditioning” the hair or adding products to retain the hair’s hydration

Anything outside of the bulb is already dead, therefore you aren’t keeping your hair alive. HOWEVER; we can condition the hair, and preserve it the best we can! How? Wet your hair daily, shampoo at most 2x a week, apply conditioner (even if it’s a leave in) daily, and last but certainly still as important trim your hair regularly to prevent splits because once it splits the hair can continue to split up the shaft especially if it’s dry.

Though there are many other things that can help these are your base rules!
