The Marley Barley Beer Club is a group in Marley Park, open to residents 21 years and older, that is focused on two things…people and beer. We are a collective group of friendly neighbors that meet once a month to drink beer and hang out. Our gatherings range from casual meetings at the Heritage Club on the third Saturday of each month to slightly more unusual events like our annual Porch Crawl! We are always open to new ideas for meetings. Each month, we strive to have some sort of theme. Examples of past themes include the “dog days of summer” where we enjoyed summer brews and hot dogs and “New Beers Resolutions” where we met in January to completely ignore those pesky resolutions we all just made. The basic premise is that you bring a six pack to drink as well as an appetizer, snack, or dessert to share. We throw all of the beers together in coolers, this way, we can sample many different types of beers! We encourage any and all neighbors, new and old, to stop by. Bring friends…the more the merrier! Lastly, don’t fret if you don’t drink beer as all are welcome here. We look forward to seeing you!
