A kinda close up look at a little trick of technique rewinding a starter coil on two cycle gas engines. It's all in the cup in your hand, tight and even winding not crossing the ribbon. Wind, pull snug and repeat. Be patient don't panic it's not as frustrating as you might think.

Thrifty Jer's small engine repair pro tip O' the day. Small engine tools accumulate a massive amount of debris while being used. Just a few minutes of normal use is all it takes for particles to start building up and finding their way into every nook and cranny on you chainsaw, weed eater, lawn mower, hedge trimmer etc. Preventative maintenance is crucial. Taking a air hose with a small nozzle to all the working parts is a quick easy way to keep your two cycle engine tool in good working condition. Be careful not to hit the carburetor directly full blast as this can damage diaphragms.
