Sporting Wood BBQ competed at the Torry Island BBQ Showdown this weekend. Jennifer Earnest, Kevin Brewer and Boo made this contest so much fun. As for results:
10th Chicken (Bird Shot)
11th Ribs
13th Pork
9th Brisket.
Overall 13th.
This was my first solo comp and it's been 6 months since our last one. Congratulations to Sloppy Hogs on GC and Good Googly Goo on RGC.

Well the brisket Sunday using Tillmans BBQ Perfect 200 rub was so successful that we are using it on another brisket this morning. It's awesome guys. If you wanna use what the pros use get some of that. Thanks to the Digiacomo family for trusting Sporting Wood BBQ with Christmas dinner. We are early in the cook but it's already smelling great.
