For the past two years, Ryan Reichlin has been an important part of our Food & Beverage team as a Lead Server at The Nittany Lion Inn.

Ryan was just months away from entering the NBA Draft before an injury changed the course of his journey. Today, he brings that same drive, discipline, and team-first mindset into the workplace every day.

When he’s not at work, Ryan’s favorite thing to do is spend time with his son — something he values deeply.

Asked what he enjoys most about his role, Ryan shared that it’s the supportive culture within Scholar Hotels.

“What I enjoy most about my job is the people I work with and the receptiveness of the managers and HR to listen to what we think would benefit the business.”

Triplett's is more than a name on the door. 🦁

Wallace "Wally" Triplett was a trailblazer — the first Black student to earn a varsity letter on Penn State's football team, and the first Penn State player drafted by the NFL.

In 1944, he was offered a college football scholarship. when he wrote back to clarify he was Black, the offer was rescinded. He kept that letter for the rest of his life.

Penn State welcomed him. and he made history here. we're proud to honor his legacy every day.
