New on Tap:
New Beer
Inauguration 2013 Ale

This is a special brew that we did for the Inauguration, a special brew for a very special day. It is a Belgian style Dubbel, which is a traditional monastic style. It was brewed with toasted coconut and raisins, which are present in the flavors and aromas of this beer as well as hints of plums, dates, and chocolate. It is a bit strong at 7.5 % a.b.v. It is very smooth and has a very limited hop bitterness. It is brownish color with a tannish head.
Because we were tank tied, we were not able to have this on tap until now

Copper Canyon Brewery Presents

Stouts

This will be the final celebration of the dark and delectable styles. Here, you will get a lot of common flavors of chocolate, coffee, and dark fruit. You will learn what is an Oyster Stout, what some people add to Stouts, and what constitutes a Breakfast Stout? I am trying to find at least 8 types of stouts for this kickass tasting. This should be a fun adventure to get you ready for St. Pats!

Reservations will be taken as seating is limited. $20 in advance $25 day of event. You will get at least 12 different beverages.

New Beer
Todd's Wicked Ale
(until the inevitable cease and desist letter, then All American Brown)

Gambrinus Brewing discontinued Pete's Wicked Ale in March 2011, I have decided to take the name and run. It is an American Brown ale, which are hoppier, bigger English Brown Ales. This beer has a little hop bite to it, with a slight toasty and roasty taste to it. It has a “fuller” flavor despite having a lighter body. There are subtle nutty notes, and smooth maltiness. The traditional English Ale yeast provides slight fruitiness and will be present in this unfiltered beer. It is 5.5% abv.
