Over the past week I've slammed six relatively large Sailor Moon Manga, and man, it has been a whole while since I've read Manga and I'm embarrassed by how long it took me to get back into the flow on book 1.

Some joys have included my son asking me why I'm reading backwards.

These books were insanely gorgeous, and I cant wait to get the second half sometime soon. It also comes in a GORG box, and with even more gorgeous prints!

I also started watching the show from the 90s with my boys last night and just getting back into seriously enjoying Sailor Moon lately has been really fulfilling.

Am I too old to finally get together a Chibi Usa cos play? I have adult wig money now!

Slow start to the year (Chess was life), but determined to hit my goal this year! Read some incredible novels already this year, and finished another Great American Reads novel! Only 48 more to go on that front.

Got to discuss the upcoming book last night with the Jeff Zentner fan club and Jeff himself. Im so grateful to those who put this together, led the discussion, and for Jeff for making time for all of us when he is such a busy guy! Hes always so welcoming, gracious, and open and its always such a treat to get to see a friend! Also, CT really showed up in this chat! Maybe this can get us a tour stop!

If you havent pre-ordered Love, Like Apples - I'm unsure what you're waiting for! Its my most anticipated 2026 read (yes, even more than ACOTAR 6) and if you need something to hold you over while you wait, may I recommend Colton Gentrys Third Act or Serpent King (10 year anniversary upcoming!).

Also praying to the arc gods because I don't want to wait until November!

"I am the person I am because of the books I have read. My reading history is a map that shows the path of my life."

This book was insanely charming, happy, sad, and filled with love for people, for books, for bookshops, and for cats. An incredibly crafted novel with characters you cannot help but love- who many times throughout the novel you wish you could hug.

Insanely glad I picked this from last month- what a joy it was to read even if I cried a few times.

PS: I am always a sucker for a book even slightly set in Connecticut. ♡ I am also so obsessed with this cover.

Fitz had a successful book fair visit today! So thankful to our beyond amazing PTO and fellow volunteers who work hard to ensure each bookfair is a success. I love getting to see a school full of readers, and love that our PTO ensures any kid who wants one can leave with a book regardless of if they can afford it or not.
