My blog was born from my desire to share my passion and knowledge for barre fitness, The Bar Method and entrepreneurship. I’m incredibly inspired by all of the other remarkable Bold. Sassy women in San Diego doing amazing things, so I wanted to create a platform to showcase them and share their stories with our community.

Today was a big day in Cali with the official reopening and the end of the Covid restrictions that have had a detrimental impact on the fitness industry for over a year. I still find it difficult to explain to people not living in our shoes how this nightmare has impacted our industry and changed our lives. I know it's real, but it still feels unbelievable.⁠⁠

I'm celebrating today, however I'm also hyper aware that the road to rebuilding has really just begun and will undoubtedly be rocky. I'll be keeping this affirmation in my purse over the next few months to remind me of my strength and will to survive this s**t storm we just went through. ⁠⁠

CONFESSION⁠⁠ 🐚
I've been quieter than usual on this account because I've been trying to figure out where I want to take it. I'm somewhere between letting go and hanging on. Both options stress me out 😂.⁠⁠

This time last year I was on a very different path. My intention was to sell my studio (or close it when the pandemic hit), and go all in on my online business creating resources, courses, and a membership for to learn Instagram. I had spent lots of time, money, and motivation on the business plan and was pumped to officially launch that rocket off the ground 🚀.⁠⁠

And then....well you know...things changed and I made a pivot I never saw coming.
〰️⁠⁠
Opening has reenergized me in a way I never thought my could do for me again. I truly thought I was done with this chapter in my life 📖.⁠⁠
〰️⁠⁠
My point with all of this is, I still don't know what I'm going to do with this account and the little I built around it just yet. However, I have decided to say open and in flow with the universe to guide me versus pushing against it and then getting down on myself for not doing it all. My studio needs me and I need it. It's what is making me happy and fulfilled in this moment. ⁠⁠

Every decision I make now comes with a new set of uncertainties. Pricing, scheduling, marketing, advertising, and the list goes on...⁠⁠

However, somehow I always end up trusting my decision and crossing the bridge with confidence. Even when the bridge leads me to a dead end. I wouldn't have known that if I didn't cross it, right? ⁠⁠

It's and words can't describe how much I love these two little fur babies. Katrina (the cat) has been with me through thick and thin for the past 15 years and Annie (the pup) has been by my side for the past 5 years. So much love for these two today and every day! ⁠⁠
