Howdy all! Well, I guess 2020 was... weird. And 2021 is looking to be just as bizarre. Oh, what an interesting time to be alive! Hope everyone is safe and sound.

I’ve recently received some inquiries regarding Lost Farm’s hours of operation / is the taproom open / what beers are on tap, etc. Unfortunately, Lost Farm is not currently producing any beers for the public, and (unless I win the lottery) won’t be for the foreseeable future. Sorry guys.

However! The hops will grow! Lost Farm hops have already been used by some local brewers, and I’m excited for what this year holds.

Here’s to future endeavors! Cheers!

Happy 2020! Things are certainly crazy right now, I hope everyone is staying safe and you have plenty of good beer to drink. We recently brewed up a big, bold IPA on the farm; it’s bubbling away happily. Next up is a Russian Imperial Stout! (Why not go all out, right?)

Winter was pretty lazy, and spring has come on early, so the hops are shooting out of the ground. Busy stringing up new coir twine before these lil gals get too out of control!

The last of the hops for the season, a random late harvest. As per usual, I didn’t manage to harvest all my cones... just too dang busy all summer. Hopefully that’ll change in the future (or I can find some more help!).
Autumn is on its way, bringing cooler temperatures and more time off from work. Which means more homebrewing! I’m so excited!

Hello 2019! I leave for a week vacation, and come back to exploding hop bines! Time to w**d and prune and string up coir twine. Very excited for a productive year... just gotta keep the ‘lil buggies away! Cheers 🍻

Baby hop cones on the bine (not a typo, they're called "bines" not vines). Crossing my fingers for a good season. Working at Backshore Brewing Co. doesn't give me much time in the hopyard over the summer... but it gives me an opportunity to make a fresh hop ale and get it on tap in OC!

Good morning everyone!

Howdy all! A little footage explaining what I've been up to for the past year. Thank you all for following my brewing and hop growing exploits! Raise a pint! Cheers, tap, drink!
