Velvet Coast IPA is our newest brew on tap and the second IPA we’ve brewed using only Velvet Cake hops, in collaboration with the National Black Brewers Association (NB2A) and Roy Farms. We’re so happy to be part of this partnership again. During the 2025 harvest, Master Brewers from the NB2A visited Roy Farms to create this new hop blend. Not only does this hand-selected, craft blend make damn good beer, but a portion of all hop sales will also support the NB2A’s mission to “foster career advancement and economic equity for African-American brewing professionals and business owners, and encourage the full engagement of Black Americans with the American brewing community.”

Read more about Roy Farms, this collaboration and the hops in the press release here: https://washingtonbeerblog.com/roy-farms-and-the-nbba-introduce-a-new-hop-blend-velvet-cake/

And come enjoy this ultra flavorful, refreshing, citrusy, crisp IPA!

Storm had a hard loss tonight. Nothing a pint of our Kolsch can’t fix. 🎯🍺 Curiosity led me into on the walk to my car post game. Found our Kolsch on the menu. Any other humble and mediocre darts lovers out there? Let’s go. I promise it’ll be a fair fight. 🎯

Love this. The AfroStitch Club settled into their gathering at Cherry St today, and we were damn happy they chose to spend this month with us for the first time.

Overheard one of the stitchers admiring our schooner glass: “The goblet is so pretty.” ✨

Yes… yes it is. And thank you! 😄

Thank you for bringing such good energy into Cherry St. We love having you here and hope to see you back again soon!

Velvet Coast IPA. Proof that sunshine can be brewed. ☀️🍺
This ULTRA-flavorful West Coast IPA is brewed entirely with Velvet Cake Hops, bringing bright citrus and melon with a crisp finish that DEMANDS patio weather.

Also pictured: my lotion-thirsty hands, apparently dry-hopped instead of moisturized. 😂

I’m excited to pour your pint here in Woodinville. It’s also freshly tapped at Cherry St. Taste what Roy Farms + the National Black Brewers Association created with Velvet Cake Hops. Cheers to sunny days ahead. 🍻

Yes we show sports in the taprooms! Yes, beer and balls are a fantastic duo! Go Seattle baby 💙💚

Presenting Folklife Session’s newest resident, Carlos Snaider! Carlos will be playing on the first Thursday’s of June, July, and April in the MBC Cherry St. taproom from 7-9PM.

About the artist: Aquiestoy is the project of guitarist, producer, and singer-songwriter Carlos Snaider. Raised by a Nuyorican mother and Ecuadorian father across cities in the US — and, briefly, in Quito, Ecuador — Carlos is now based in Seattle with his music taking him to and from Latin America. The name Aquiestoy fuses the Spanish words for “here” and “I am”, which he translates as “ibehere.” That sense of presence without fixed ground runs through music that includes live solo and band arrangements, hardware synth production, and songwriting in English, Spanish, and Spanglish that are from many places and nowhere at once.

With Aquiestoy as his current root, Carlos also plays in the bands EarthtoneSkytone, Eléré and Star Gondola in Seattle.

Special thanks to our partners at NW Folklife and KNKX Public Radio, without you this wouldn’t be possible!
