Originally from the desert community of Acton, CA; Jimmy was born on a small ranch to a LAPD detective father and a mother who ran an in-home daycare center. He started doing comedy at the age of 8 when he started telling jokes at the beginning of all of his Cub Scout pack meetings. Throughout high school he told jokes at talent shows and through speeches for various assemblies. He continued to ho
ne his act at local open mics while producing shows on campus. Eventually he was asked to open shows for touring comics that performed on his campus. Upon graduation, he formed a sketch comedy group with a group of local comics and writers. They began producing original shows around the Northwest. Through connections in the group, Jimmy met Ryan Styles and was asked to headline his club in Bellingham, WA. He headlined shows there until moving to Seattle to pursue the next stage of his career. Jimmy is currently very active in the Seattle stand up comedy scene. He is known for his high energy, positive style with an emphasis on questioning gender stereotypes. He has hosted shows, been a guest, featured and headlining comic.
