Hey y’all - I'm back from my hiatus to tell you some big news....I had to step away from Union recently due to some big life changes. I want to thank everyone that supported me through this journey - I couldn't have pulled this off alone. I am grateful to have been a part of this community and I know the energy will continue on in this space because y'all bring the energy! I'm sorry Union’s been closed so long but I wanted to find the right folks to take over this space. I wanted to make sure they were ready to receive and give in our special little shop and so I approached Push Pull about carrying on the same values and intentions at Union. They were so excited and on board. We have been serving Push Pull’s coffee at Union for about a year now so they are no strangers to Union. When Chris moved from Portland to Seattle with his partner and kiddo, he made the effort to come in person and chat with the team and make sure things were well every week. Often we would end up chatting with guests and regulars and Chris always enjoyed the people he met during his delivery days here.
Union will stay similar in values with the new ownership - I have no doubts. They are dear friends (and another female business owner!) and familiar faces and i hope you stop by and welcome them to the neighborhood.
