🎂 Was a great honor today to host the 90th birthday celebration for Mary Rollerson, a well-known local retired realtor. Arranged as a surprise by her family and friends it was a resounding success. We wish her many happy returns and thank her family for making Rio’s part of her special day.

GET YOUR SCOTTISH ON . Did you know that this Saturday, January 25th, is Robbie Burns Day? This is when Scottish Celts around the world adorn our Kilts and celebrate the birthday of one of our most beloved poets, simply called "Burns night". We pay homage to the Celtic Bard by the reciting of his poetry, the playing of the pipes , the singing of Scottish songs and the eating of the national Scottish dish Haggis! Many of you who attended the " Burns Nights" that we hosted at Rio's restaurant over the past few years know what a blast that was, but sadly as the restaurant is closed we will have to commit that to memory. However, Fear Not !!!! We will endeavor to give you a "wee" taste of the day in our very very special and very exclusive homemade HAGGIS HAND PIES. Yeah, we have done it, we've managed to condense the unique flavor of my national dish in a very handy and EXTREMELY TASTY individual pie. Now I know that many of you will immediately 'Google' the ingredients of a traditional Haggis and think “No way am I eating that”! But trust me, no sheep were hurt in the making of this and absolutely no 'stomach's' were involved. I’m so confident that you’ll love them, we’re offering free samples before you buy!
