DOUBLE FEATURE! TWO DRINKS. TWO POSTCARDS.
It’s Tuesday, which means another limited-edition postcard drop from our CREATURE FEATURE Halloween pop-up. Except this week, we’re doing a double feature. All week long.
First up, THE INVISIBLE MAN. 👻
A margarita with a disappearing act. Blanco tequila, Cointreau, clarified lime and cane. Everything you love about a really good margarita, bright, citrusy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, except we’ve worked a little magic and made the whole thing completely clear. Don’t ask too many questions.
Next, THE BEGINNING OF THE END. 🦗
Inspired by the wonderfully ridiculous 1957 sci-fi horror film about giant killer grasshoppers, this one’s a little more adventurous.
Mezcal, garlic-onion infused gin, serrano-cilantro infused agave, pineapple, mint and lime. Smoky, savory, herbaceous, a little spicy, and surprisingly tropical. There’s a LOT going on here, and somehow it all works.
And because we’re committed to the bit, it’s topped with a dehydrated lime wheel sprinkled with lemon-garlic seasoned chapulines. Yes, actual little dried grasshoppers. They’re easily removable if you’re not feeling quite that adventurous, but we fully support eating the garnish.
