Not thrilled about this but rising material costs are forcing us to raise our per foot price on kitchens. Normal pricing for 2x4x12 treated lumber is under $9 each. Last year at the covid peak it got as high as $15.77 each. Just checked pricing yesterday and it is currently $18.48 each. Not only lumber but hinges, door handles, casters, screws have all increased as well, though not quite as significantly. Corrugated tin has gone up significantly as well though. 8 foot sheets were normally around $16 each and are now $23.73 each.
As a result the per linear foot of our kitchen builds are going up immediately from $150 to $165 per foot. I could go all political here but I wont. We dont need to get rich here at Cowboy Country Kitchens but we do need to make a living. The last increase was from $125 to $150 so this increase is not as significant.
If you already have your deposit in or we quoted you within the last 30 days this increase will not affect you. If your quote is older than 30 days please accept our apologies but the increase will be applied should you get ready to order. We DO appreciate your patronage as always.
