This month, we are visiting an old favorite before it closes, possibly forever: the Little Club (132 Orange Avenue) in Coronado. Plan now to join us on Wednesday, March 25th, starting at 5:00 p.m as we support the Little Club, its history, and its wonderful staff.
The building that has housed the family-owned bar for the last 50+ years has been sold, and the Little Club will be closing its doors at the end of March, but not before we visit one last time to celebrate and support the bar.
Plan now to join us as we celebrate and enjoy everything great about the Little Club: It’s dark and inviting with historical photos of Coronado and military ships on the walls. They have a front patio, a full, U-shaped bar, and a pool table. It’s filled with locals who have called it their living room for decades.
The Little Club may rise again if they can find a new location, but in the meantime, losing the bar hurts.
It hurts the owners and the staff. It hurts the community. It hurts those who have enjoyed the cozy confines. It hurts the friendships that have been forged over lazy afternoons, over heated sporting events, and over quiet, contemplative late-night drinks. It hurts to say goodbye.
But it would hurt even more to not show our appreciation and support.
So let’s do this!
One last celebratory visit to the Little Club on Wednesday, March 25th, starting at 5 p.m. Plan now to join us!
IMPORTANT INFO:
FOOD: The Little Club doesn’t serve food but they are fine with you bringing food in. There are great places nearby including Nicky Rottens, Saiko Sushi, and Coronado Brewing Co.
CASH or CARDS: The Little Club takes both.
PARKING: It’s all street parking. Coronado is very strict about their speed limits so plan accordingly. Make it easy and take an Uber or a Lyft.
